What is it about a man with a child that makes the blood rush to a woman’s cheeks? Personally, whenever I see a man with a kid all my buttons are turned on, and I’m ready to pounce on that ass. Maybe it is refreshing to see a man taking care of his responsibilities. I have always been attracted to hardworking men. But why is that? Is it Darwin’s Survival of the Fittest that causes us to gravitate towards a man with a child? Or maybe it’s because men are so damn adorable taking care of a baby? I’m going to keep it real. I used to go to my daughter’s school performances and field trips, and swoon over the daddies that took the time to support their offspring. It could possibly be admiration. For example; my son’s father and I went to a doctor’s office the other day, and while I was filling out that stupid ass redundant paperwork, I hear this lady asking him questions about our son. I was completely baffled that she felt comfortable enough to speak to a big, black man. Keep in mind she was alone with her gargantuan baby. Of course, I chimed in on their conversation. I had to let that feline know to keep her paws to herself. Admire my child’s father from the other side of the room in silence. Now, that was jealousy. She could’ve just been a very friendly individual, but who really goes around just speaking to strangers? Maybe she felt more comfortable speaking to him because he was caring for a baby. Killers take care of babies, too. I really believe it is a primal instinct within us women to find a mate that will take care of the family unit. Just like it is a primal instinct for a man to protect and provide for his. Anyways, this post is dedicated to all the grown men taking care of their children because they want to, not because it’s court ordered. We see you. And damnit we think it’s sexy as hell. Keep up the good work. But as far as my son’s father, all you hussies can admire and respect him with your mouths shut and keeping your hands to yourself.
